Healthy Recipes by Goal
Every recipe here is calculated, not just cooked. The Food Secrets app rates more than a thousand foods and gives each one a rank per health goal — from inflammation and heart to longevity. So each recipe tells you which goal it scores best for.
These recipes are examples. In the app you import any other recipe from the web the same way.Frequently asked questions about recipes and the app
Can I import any recipe from the web?
Yes. Copy the address of the recipe page and paste it into the Food Secrets app under Add recipe. The app reads the ingredients, quantities and method, links every ingredient to the nutrient database and works out the rank for your goal. The recipes on this page are only examples, so you can see what the rating looks like.
What about recipes from a cookbook or a magazine?
That is what the AI recipe scanner is for. Photograph the recipe page and the app reads the text and imports the recipe. Multi-page recipes work too: photograph the pages one after another and the app puts them together. Printed recipes are recognised best.
What happens to ingredients the app does not know?
They do not drop out of the calculation. An ingredient with no rank of its own enters at the median of the database, and at half weight. A guess is weaker evidence than a measurement, so it must not pull the average as hard. That way an unknown ingredient can make a recipe look neither artificially good nor artificially bad.
Why does each recipe show a range instead of a place number?
Because the database keeps growing. "Top 50" means: averaged across all its ingredients, the recipe sits among the best fifty of over a thousand rated foods. A range survives a few places of movement; an exact number does not. The app works out the current value at any time.
Can I change my health goal?
Yes, at any time. The app knows 15+ goals — inflammation, heart, immune system, blood sugar, muscles, cancer, longevity and four more. Every recipe gets its own rank per goal. The same plate can sit in the Top 50 for one goal and mid-field for another, which is why every recipe page says which goal it scores best for.
What does the app give me besides the rating?
Every imported recipe becomes a sorted shopping list with one tap, and the recipe can go into your week plan. Tap an ingredient inside a recipe and you see its ranks for 15+ goals, the compounds behind them and the studies for them. The basic version is free.
