From lab report to plate – in one click.

Food Secrets turns a lab report into what your patients need in daily life: values they understand, suitable foods, recipes and a weekly plan. Food Secrets is a tool for nutrition and cooking – it makes no diagnosis and gives no treatment advice.

From lab report to plate: a hard-to-read lab report becomes clear, sorted for you and turned into recipes in the Food Secrets app with one click

Screens from the development build, with a made-up sample report.

Who are you?

The gap after the report

The consultation takes minutes. Daily life takes weeks.

The report stays a PDF

Full of abbreviations and units. Without help, they stay unclear.

Between appointments: nothing

The advice slips back into old habits – until the next appointment.

A leaflet is not a shopping list

If you don't know what to cook today, even the best advice goes unused.

Food Secrets closes this gap – in an app for daily life: shopping, cooking, weekly plan.

How it works

Four steps, one click

1 · Capture the report

Paste the PDF text or type the values – from most labs, in ten languages.

2 · Check

Confirm every line that was read. Nothing is saved before that.

3 · Understand

Values the lab marks as low or high come first – with its normal range and one clear sentence.

4 · On the plate

One click sorts ranking, recipes and weekly plan by the nutrients related to these values – if you want.

From lab value straight to the kitchen

For every suggested food, one click on “…” opens the same actions as the food table:

Find recipes

Find recipes with this food and add them to the app.

Into the weekly plan

Plan the food for a day straight away.

Onto the shopping list

One click puts it on the list for your next shop.

Save and compare

Save it as a favourite or compare it with another food.

Live today: the nutrition app with over 1000 foods, 100+ nutrients (Swiss BLV data), rankings from over 1000 studies, recipe import, weekly plan and shopping list in four languages. In development: the lab feature and the professional account.

For clinics and physicians

Your conversation about nutrition keeps working – all the way to the kitchen.

Values people understand

Every value with your lab's normal range and one plain sentence – in the patient's language.

Advice becomes daily life

Foods, recipes, a weekly plan and a shopping list instead of a leaflet in a drawer.

No effort for your practice

No installation, no interface. The patient captures her report herself.

Made for adults who want to eat a balanced diet in daily life, and for nutrition and lifestyle programmes. Food Secrets is not intended to accompany medical treatment, and not for pregnant women or children.

For nutrition counselling

Your counselling stays with clients between sessions.

Guidance when you're not there

Every day, the client sees foods and recipes for her goals – and which foods contain a lot of the nutrients her values relate to.

Recipes and a plan, not a list

Your advice becomes recipes, a weekly plan and the shopping list.

Later: your professional account

Clients link to you; you send recipes and plans and see what the client shares with you – only with her consent, revocable at any time.

For laboratories

Your report gets an answer to “And now what?”

The report becomes a plan

Foods, recipes and a weekly plan – with your normal ranges, your status and your name.

Several reports in one place

Planned: new reports sit next to the old ones. A reminder only exists if the user sets it herself.

A new sales channel

Later: offer your tests in the Food Secrets shop or by link – clearly marked as an offer and kept apart from the rankings.

Nothing to integrate

The app reads reports from common labs in ten languages. An interface is possible, not required.

Neutral: no lab can buy a place in our rankings. A partner lab's nutrition notes are shown only to its own customers – with the lab's name. If we sell a lab's tests, we say so openly. We pass our users' lab values to no lab.

Safe and clearly limited

What the app does – and what it doesn't

No diagnosis

No dosage, no supplements, no treatment advice. Values outside the range belong in a conversation with a doctor.

Status from the lab

“Low” or “high” comes only from the report. Where it has no range, the app shows a general range for comparison only – with no status.

Every suggestion with a source

Every link from lab value to nutrient is backed by evidence. We disclose the method to professionals.

Data stays on the phone

Encrypted, only with consent, deleted with one click.

Before launch, we have data protection, security and the legal classification reviewed independently.

Working together

Three steps to a pilot

1 · Get to know us

3 · Review

We decide together how to continue. Your feedback shapes the app.

The pilot is free for you. Write to us in two sentences: who you look after and what you are missing.

FAQ for professionals

Is Food Secrets a medical device?

Food Secrets is a nutrition and cooking app for healthy adults and is not placed on the market as a medical device. It makes no diagnosis, gives no dosage or treatment advice and shows the status the lab provides. Before launch, we have the legal classification of the lab feature reviewed independently.

Which lab values can the app read?

At launch, blood values: blood count, iron, vitamins, blood lipids, blood sugar, CRP and minerals, from most labs' reports in ten languages. Microbiome tests follow with our lab partner.

Do we see our patients' data?

Only what the person shares herself. The values are stored encrypted on her phone. A link to you comes later and applies only with her consent, revocable at any time.

What if a report shows no normal range?

Then the app shows a published general range with its source for comparison, labelled “not rated by your lab”. In that case there is no low or high status.

In which languages and countries is the app available?

In German, French, Italian and English, on the App Store and Google Play – for Switzerland, Germany and Austria.

How are the suggestions made?

From over 1000 foods with over 100 nutrients (based on Swiss BLV data) and over 1000 studies. Every ranking and every link from lab value to nutrient is backed by sources. On request we disclose the full method to professionals.
